Annual Sault Film Festival

The Sault Film Festival was created by filmmakers Rebeka Herron and Trish Rainone in 2020. The first annual festival took place in 2020 with limited in-person and online screenings and workshops, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless, it was a success. In 2024, SFF partnered with Parth Pandey, from Parka Pictures. All three are passionate about fostering Northern talent and work actively in the film and television industry in both Northern Ontario and Toronto.​
