Unleash your creativity and bring your stories to life with our dynamic "Make a Short Film!" program. Designed for aspiring filmmakers, storytellers, and anyone passionate about visual storytelling, this course guides you step-by-step through the exciting process of making your very own short film. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, you’ll gain hands-on skills in scriptwriting, storyboarding, directing, filming, and editing. Students will collectively write and produce a short film from script to screen. The completed short film will be presented at the Sault Film Festival in the Emerging Filmmaker screening in November. We will cover these basic elements while making the movie: Screenwriting Script Breakdown Creating a Shot List Acting Camera Sound Directing Producing Script Supervision Editing Movie Release and Marketing Ideal for older teens and adults who are new to filmmaking. No experience necessary.
