Meet the Team

The Sault Film Festival was created by filmmakers Rebeka Herron and Trish Rainone in 2020. The first annual festival took place in 2020 with limited in-person and online screenings and workshops, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless, it was a success. In 2021, SFF partnered with Kerrie De Poli, a film enthusiast. All three women are passionate about fostering Northern talent and work actively in the film and television industry in both Northern Ontario and Toronto.
